Does anyone know the highest cl that can be sampled.

I have tried and failed 5 times each to sample a giant kimogila (lv123) kimogila (lv95) and a giant dune kimogilla. I have sucessfully sampled bull rancors but those are level 65 ( i have made a level69 kimo with 5 very high quality bull rancor dna today)

But what is the highest creature level any of you have gotten samples from?

That's supposed to be true, and I have no reason to believe it changed.

But can anyone tell me if Enraged Rancors increased in level? I was out trying to sample them last night for about an hour. I attempted about 20 samples (they're hard to get near with no ranger skills) and failed 100% of the time. They are (were?) CL 75 so should be our max, but I'm not a master scout so don't know if this is still true.

I believe Enraged are level 89 now.

The creature appears to be impenatrable to your attempt to sample dna.

Or

The DNA sampling failed, the creatures hide is too thick to sample from.

Or something really simple

The creature is too powerfull for you to possably get a DNA sample from.

Yes I believe the Muntant Rancors are now CL 75

I'm just happy that I can make some sick liitle gnorts now though.

Wow.. a message telling us that we have no chance to sample from XXX Creature would rock. really no different than what CHs get when trying to tame a baby out of their lvl, eh?

It's not like it'd be a freebie; we still have to get close enough to attempt without drawing aggro

I wish we had the "Your backpack is full." message.

I got a single mutant rancor sample in 10 attempts. No deathblows, though.

This is good to know. The DB risk I can live with if I know for certain that I have at least that chance to get a sample. They're just SO difficult to get near, at least in "rancor valley" where they're standing shoulder-to-shoulder and commonly killing each other

75 is high end, that seems to be right!

mutant rancors are CL 75
enraged are CL 80 and can not be sampled anymore, just checked it, hope that helps
