Nope. You're not missing anything. You can't sell tamed pets on the bazaar or vendor.

So, that also means I can't sell trained pets, correct, since you must tame to train?

You can sell a tamed pet. You just have to transfer it to the person you're selling it to. If I remember correctly, I think you can also trade one to someone, person to person, by giving them the deed to your pet. Kevm is correct though, you just can't sell a trained pet over the bazaar or a vendor.

As I understand it, many people are selling pets that come pre-trained by a CH. Is it possible to sell these pre-trained pets via vendor? As far as I can tell, the pet needs to be /tamed in order to be trained, and as soon as it's tamed, it is stuck in the datapad forever, and cannot be transferred back to inventory or onto a vendor.

Please let me know if there is something I am missing. I didn't see anything regarding this in the FAQ.

you cant sell a pet once its grown beyond CL10 though, unless its been trained the transfer command by a MCH
