Was just wondering if anyone on TC could confirm this, saw a patch note claiming: DNA now properly serialized. Perhaps you guys can finally make factory crates of DNA? Or *gasp*, maybe this means no more naked DNA ventures. :>

Just thought I'd ad that the TC is on the Corbantis cluster, so maybe a BE from there could check it out.

By serialised they mean they now have serial numbers. This is to fix a fix. Unserialised components could be used to create factory runs using any component of that type to create identical factory runs - eg using really good unserialised night sister shards to make the schematic and then using crappy any serial number stuff to make the factory run.
So they changed it so unserialised components couldnt be used in the crafting process - however this affected DNA since it doesnt have serial numbers - so they added the serial numbers so that they will be accepted as crafting components again.

Just to add to what NancyJ stated: This hasn't changed the way we use DNA or craft clones. Its still a manual process.
