I've playing my wife's BE more than she does lately trying to make some good pets for my creature handler.
I'd like to have a pair of 400 damage pets but so far I've been unsuccessful.
I've gotten fairly close though.
I've made a CL33 with 372 damage and a CL38 with 396 damage.
The above pets have about 1500 health each.
Since pets can't hold agro anyway I'm giving up health for damage.
Even so, I'd still like to have 1000+ health.
I'd be curious to know what kind of luck other BEs have had.

O.k. after about 4 more hours of experimentation, I'm closing the book on this one.
I'm convinced that a usefull CL35 400 damage pet is not going to happen.
I finally managed to make a CL35 creature with 396 damage. Thats pretty close.
The downside however is that its only got 399 health.
This of couse means that if he draws agro, he's dead in about 2 seconds.
And it would be a totally worthless around NPCs or creatures with an area attack.
I still welcome any comments on this subject.

Interesting. The damage increases the level a lot at the cost of what you can have for health. Seems to be a trade-off as you have found.
