Hi, i'm not a BE but my buddy is. I'm going up CH and was starting to harvest alot of meat/flora for him however the thing he is not sure on and that i've been wondering ison thre resources that go into a pet does the quality matter, and if so what stats?

If you could share what stats to look for on Tissues also i'd appreciate that.

Thanks much.

For tissues PE, FL and OQ all weighted equally. (PE + FL + OQ)/3.

Some things used dont have all three of those stats for instance hide and bone only have OQ of those things required the rest of the stats are irrelevant.

But what about stats on meat and flora when crafting a pet? do those matter and if so which stats?

nope flora and meat quality does not affect the creature, we got an officail response on this sometime ago. makes making pets a bit easier. anything will work

I'm a new AS and had a few questions regarding the stats on assembling armor and its subcomponents. My understanding is its the Shock Resist and OQ that are the important ones, is this true for every component? And secondly, If you have one resource with a 312 OQ and 950 SR and another with 750 OQ and 760 SR which is better? I was a Arch on Kettemoor but making just funiture and homes resouce stat never played a part so I'm new to this side of crafting, thanks for any input.

Here is what I was told. OQ + SR = # for segments and cores, OQ + SR + DR = # for final combine (condition)

From what I understand 950 + 312 = 1262 < 750 + 760 = 1510

If I am wrong please tell me know as this is what I have been basing my resources off of, LOL.

thats how i work out my resourcesand its the best way to do it its 50/50 for the segments and cores then 33/33/33 for the final armour combine

what ever you get for resource add it then divide by 2 ideally you want it to be +850 to start getting good stats on armour but you can always sell your lower end armour for cheaper which is what im doing while i stockpile good resources

Don't forget some resources have odd 'gates' - min / max stats -and so seemingly low stats can mean a great big green bar when you add it to the mix.

When it comes to cores and stats, is it best to use 900+ stat resouces that comprise Basic Cores opposed to using Advanced Cores with lower stat rare recources?

its worth noting that whena material hasa gate, like titanium aluminium SR = 430 then if it is a specific named material not just 'aluminium' then a SR of 400 can be looked at as effectivly 400/430 (93%) - compaired to other 'normal' resources at 930/1000 (93%). but if you use a gated resource like titanium.(damnweb text editor won't let me abbreviate titanium to its 3 letter short version)alum. in component that only requires metal for example then its a poor resource at 400 SR.
