I've had the same problem with one of my pets which it wont let me trade in. Very frustrating indeed.

What CL are you trying to turn in? Only CL's accepted for turnin are 11 12 13 14 and 15

I cant get the Pet Trade-in to work.... whatever I do whatever animal I have it just does not work........
when I go to the creature handler he tels me
"Please sotore any active creatures before attempting to trade pet."
However I have no other pets....
And when I try to call the creature it tells me
"You have no chance of controlling this creature. See "Pet Trade-In in you Holocron for Info"
I also cheked ont he creatures level and all of the cretaures I try to exchange are less than lev 10
Before I became a Bio Eng I did not have this problem..... but now... I cant get a pet no matter what...
What am I doing wrong? or what can I do?

This one is probably not new, but I couldn't find something about it.Some friend gota level 13 Bantha from me last night, I took him to a CH Trainer to let him trade it for a level 10 Bantha. But he received a Bol instead. Is this a bug or "working as intended"?

with the pet trade-in u dont even get the same pet on lvl10, u get everytime a lvl10 but for example i could trade-in a dire cat and would receive a gurrcat or something like this.
i think it depends on the type of pet, coz a bantha and a bol are 2 big 4 legged and mountable pets, so u could also get a dewback

Correct if you trade in a mountable pet, you will get another mountable pet back. With most others you will get a similar breed in return, the trade in only works for levels 11-15 if I remember rightly. Butit is something that the DEVshave beenintending to scrapcompletely for ages, but as with most things CH they just seem to talk about doing it for ages without actually lifting a finger.

how do u trade it in? i have been trying, but nothing works.... i was trying to trade in a lvl 13 kaadu

actually, i traded in a mounted cu pa once and got back a lvl 64 bluurg or something weird.
not mountable mind you, but when i open the radial to train him, it gives me the option to train as a mount

Yes, this was made a long, long, loooong time ago when non-CH could use level 15 pets. They changed it to 10, and made the trade-in system. The usefulness of this is long gone, and all it does is confuse people.
