Thread: High Courage Nerf?

I had noticed that Reclusive Shear Mites, my main supplier of high Courage DNA,on Dathomir no longer had high courage values. A couple other posts mentioned that there were some creatures on Yavin with high Courage, so I went there. Here is what I found:

Where is the high Courage DNA? Did SOE "fix" it?

Same here, getting fed up with this now, anglers had courage in the 600+ range, just re-checked them and theyre in the 120+ range, i've had enough of it, i won't be collecting any more dna samples for nams tool any more until i can be sure they won't change it again

Sure. I sort of expect the low courage to be temporary, so these samples may be obsolute soon. On the other hand, my CL 24 pet with 6.2% Aggro seemed to be doing much better recently holding aggro against CL 39ish (my level) creatures, so maybe less courage will be required to hold aggro. I took all of the 12-15% Aggro pets off my vendor for now though, until we see if higher courage levels are restored.

It looks like it's been nerfed. I have some pre publish 19 Kliknik DNA with stats around 360 courage and 720 fierceness. Now the same Klikniks only give 140 courage and 350 fierceness.
This really hurts the aggro bonus, I used to be able to get upto 17% with shear mite DNA, now the best I can get is only 3.5% if that.

Also sampled Klikniks, Giant Crystal Snakes, and Anglers all with ranged attack and all the DNA came up Ranged: No.

Yup, same here. I just did more sampling today so didn't notice it sooner. I can't find anything with high courage and the ranged is always ending up to be: No. *sigh*

What about Blood Frenzied Robas on Endor? I think they had high Courage. Coulda been Fierceness though I cannot remember.

So you think the courage nerf is limited to Dath and Yavin?
With ranged not working either, I would think they caused a bug more than a nerf. Or maybe I can just hope....

I added this issueto the pub 19 thread. I say we all start bugging it. I have stopped doing pets for the most part because of this.

This thread needs a bump....
Lam...can you acknowledge this as a bug for BE please?
I've sampled klickniks, anglers, and gaping spider varieties. I've sampled lurking shear mite. We do not get ranged attack: yes anymore!!!
Also, this courage and fierceness stat reduction is a problem. Especially the courage.

Ah-ha!
I was collecting yard trash on Naboo for a pet order, and I usually like to get Spineflap Handmaiden DNA for its ranged attack. Well, I finally found a Handmaiden, but it didn't have a ranged attack on its DNA. I thought that I found a Spineflap that failed out of Ranged Attack School or something lol. I checked a bag of old DNA and found a bunch of pre patch VHQ SH DNA and all of those have ranged attacks. (that figures)
/bug it!
