So I decided to revamp my pricing based on the Ranger pricing guide and decided to start tracking the tissues I made to see what the pattern is. I looked around a bit and didn't find similar info so I hope I am not duplicating something.
Here is an example:
Scent Nutralization:
FL PE OQ
Creature Food932 750 832
Flowers981 220 930
Avian Bone ------- 972
Flora Structural --- ----926
=======================
Average 957 458 926
Average of the averages = 789
Note that the bone and structural do not enter into the average of the FL/PE.
To calculate the end result:
(789 / 1000) * 20 = 16 - so +16/+16 for the mask scent and cammo moifiers.
My guess is that 20 is the max for any bonus to a tissue. So far this seems to be pretty accurate - out of all the tissues I made my guess was wrong on one (it was an 11 and the formual said 10).
For the Broad Spectrum Neutrients I used the following (without much testing - and I am pretty sure it is not correct even though it works with what I have done):
58 + (AVERAGE / 1000) * 32
And yes I just made those numbers appear out of thin air :-) My guess is that 58 is the lowest for that tissue (probably wrong - but like I said it has been spot on for what I have tested with).
Hopefully more eyes (and testing :-)will refine the formulas more. I have tried it with Active Biosensors, Tensile Resistence, and Scent Nutralization only - but I derivied the formual only on Active Biosensors and worked with the other two without modification - I am assuming that it will hold for all the other tailor tissues.
