Hey guys, I'm gauging interest for a Teamspeak Server. I'm willing to host one through the BE Website if everyone is interested.
Teamspeak is a program that runs on your computer and allows you to chat using microphones speakers to anyone else connected.
BE can exchange ideas andinformation.It also makes the game more interesting and creates a sense of community.

Speaking from personal experience with voice chats, they don't seem to really be used too much.In mixed chats with voice and keyboard, the keyboard users always outnumber the voice ones.
It might be a nice idea for an event, but finding a good time for those is always a bear.

fantoq, you are 100% wrong there. Try joining a decent PA. They all use programs like teamspeak. ESPECIALLY when it comes to PvP.

XpNsVe honestly, you will probably get more tards than you will usefull people. It would be best to start a Bio Engineer PA then supply a teamspeak server for them. That way you can control who comes on. Opening up voice that to the public is like an open inventation to 12 year old's with nothing better to do than come blast music or scream something.

Your right loonatik, but from my expirience most SWG players are mature. I don't want to limit a good idea on the possibility of someone screwing it up. After all, I can ban people.
