I'm always looking for new niches to expand my store into, I sell TONS of stuff - but lately have been having a storage problem with DNA like the rest of us.
The question is - if you knew of a master bio vendor that sold samples, would you find it something you'd want to use or would you rather travel and get your own?
I''ve never seen DNA for sale anywhere - and there may be a very good reason - no market, but I sell tons of other components for nearly every other trade - including my own in tailoring, I don't really see this as competition to my own pets - but I have no bloody idea if other bio's would find this valuable.
If you think it might be a worthwhile experiment, second question - how the heck do I price them? I was thinking maybe a combination of the first two stats as a flat rate? My system of pricing pets is cumbersome - but works, but I have no idea how to value DNA - and I certainly don't want to run a spreadsheet for every single sample.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

it would only be viable if you get rare samples like a GDK sample, a friend of min had a bounty out on them, but for the regular sample theres not really a market, only be's can use them and only bes can sample, so they could go out and sample there own. unless you find a really lazy be i think that idea will flop

Well - that's why I'm askin, it of course could double as storage for ME, I have actually been asked on rare occassions if I sell DNA but thought I'd float the idea here - see what ya'll thought.
Many things I sell and do very well at my customers can make themselves - buying from me simply saves them the logistic headaches of storage and it's more a convience thing. Samples are a royal pain though - because like skill attachments - you pretty much have to look at every one of them to tell what it is. Would be a little more viable if they could stick at least the critters name in the title.

This topic has come up before (serveral times) and many have expressed interest in buying dna samples. Personally, I wouldn't, just because I enjoy going out and getting it, but that's just me.

yea i like watchin the big critters fall over after one poke and people runnin up to me thinkin im a jedi (spray stick in hand dosent helpdisuade them either 
)

I probably wouldnt want to buy DNA samples. I think that sampling is half the fun of BE. But one way to maybe make it work could be if you set up shop in a research center, and placed a high quality crafting station there. That way people can come to your shop, buy the samples, and assemble them on the spot. Maybe that would increase the sales, I dont know.
