I'm sure this has been asked a million times...but these forums tend to sew manyseeds of deceit, especially the profession forums.

My question is this: What is preventing BE's from sampling from creatures above lvl 75? Is it the fact that it wont allow you to physically sample from them? Does it just not work? Is it impossible to get close to creatures above level 75 without them aggroing?

If someone has messed around with trying to poke creature above lvl 75 I would love to hear it. If you dont know for sure (ie you havent tried it yourself)...well I'd prefer that I hear from someone who has tried it himself/herself.

Will you believe anything your told anyway?

I've tried sampling enraged rancors back after the revamp and never got a single sample and those are CL 80.

in response to the QUESTION asked....=)

yes, the CL75 ceiling is hard-coded into the sampling system. Its not a result of anything else but the devs saying "we dont want BEs sampling anything bigger than CL75 so we're going to code it so they just cant" =)

yeah it's really a pity we cannot simply sample some krayt dragon dna and make a durni with it :/
