Thread: Your thoughts on BE Combat Template

OK then what are your thoughts on a 'reasonable' solo combat template for a BE? Obviously the prime concern is Meat collecting, but I just wondered what type of combat skills you all have?
Currently I've got Marksman 4003 and Brawler 1000 - oh and the obvious Scout 4040, Medic 0001

Master BE + Bounty Hunter 0404 - the ultimate meat and lair killing machine

Im Master BE andMaster Rifleman (speed capped too). I can cleara voritor hunter lair in under 5 minutes and can get about 25k meat per buff session. As for PvP - just as long as u stay 50-60m away from ur enemy then ur fine, having Scout 4xxx helps as u get the extra terrain negotiation and more efficient burst run so you can get out of sticky situations fast.

when I was out doing the hunting and not my alt, I was a big fan of mBE & M.TKA

I used to be a Pistoleer until a few weeks ago when trying to kill off arachnes for the great endro insect meat we had on Intrepid, I realized that Pistoleer has got to be the most suck ass combat profession in the game. Nothing like having 2 of your top 4 specials broken. Anyway, after consyulting with many friends, I switched to TK. I am almost Master now and I was killing off Slinking Voritor Hunter Lairs in about 5 minutes at my shortest time, 7 for my longest. When I was in a really big solo group I was getting about 1600-2000 units of meat per lair as well as 26k per mission I was doing. TK rocks!

oh, and even though this has nothing to do with combat, but a harvesting droid with over 100% harvest, you'll get so much more meat, so much faster.

Thats true unless you use veghash.

there's nothing faster to kill creatures/lairs than tkm. That's if you're primary goal is getting lots of meat, tkm is the fastest combat prof afterall and most creature is under 50% kinetic

Master BE and Master Rifleman works for me. I have no speed cap I believe since I only have +100 speed using 7.8 and under speed weaponry I can kill things fairly quickly. I found a neat trick that since i'm rifleman and have the scout exploration line for masking scent. I can down animals relatively quickly problem is I don't have lvl IV in exploration so I am discovered alot easier than usual.

Hmm will have to test it again never did when I used it with my 109% Droid I always got the same amount if I was using veghash or not.
