In celebration of figuring out our tissue formula and as a test to my newfound JavaScript skills, I bring you a handy calculator:
Tissue Calculator
Right now it does the three nutrients. If I get ambitious I might add in the other chef tissues and the tailor tissues.
Save it to your computer and you can even play with it off-line. Enjoy!
(If anyone wants to expand or rip the code for their own projects, feel free, just give me credit please.)

Also note that you can use wood in the organic slot. Leave the PE and FL zero and it will take it into account.

I'm not a BE myself, but gather all the resources for a one in the guild. This was awesome, didn't think I had the potential to make 87's and 117's..

Is it conceivable that Bone or Hide could be used in place of the "organic" as well?

I think so, just do the same as you would for wood. Just use the OQ, as those resources have no PE/Flav so they do not figure into the formula and the PE/Flav of the other resources are "double weighted".

If you'd asked me before you made one, I've had one for about 3 weeks. I made it to figure out what was going on with the 33/33/33 split that didn't seem to be working.
It was them updated with the 50/30/20 and works very nicely ![]()

It is safe to use wood, hide or bones. Yes, the PE/FL goes to zero, but those stats are only averaged for the other two resources. If your flora or meat has a low OQ, using high OQ wood is a very good way to bring the value up.
(The calculator does take this into account and is consistant with results I have had in game using wood.)

I have updated the calculater to include the other Chef tissues.
The bonus on non-nutrients may not be completely accurate, as I pulled these from alakhazam. I will do some testing over the weekend or next week and update it as appropriate.
I may do the Tailor tissues, however the bonus will not be as accurate due to the fact they get better bumps with successes and failures...

i believe that if they dont have a fl or pe value then they are defaulted to 0. so its not wise to use them.
and to the guy that asked about the pets, the best one is on www.swgcreatures.com, under DNA Lab.
