would it not be good if one of the stats to experiment with would be a H/A/M regen pool maybe one for all three or seperate ones beign a CH i notice that my high end pets takes absalutly ages to regen health i normally store them and use another pet just wondering if anyone else has thought of this?

To whom should we sell petstims if health would regenerate faster?

good point there m8 did not think of that but then again it would not hurt if it was just a tiny bit better on the regen

Before the latest revamp, pets showed their secondary stats on /examine. I'm convinced they still have them. My own pet seems to recover faster than most, and as a result seems to hang in there longer than some pets with higher HAM. I do wish we could still see these (and maybe experiment on them).
A doctor can still buff a pet's secondary stats.
Now if only we could train a pet to listen to a musician for a while.

Yeah, that'd be nice, to give them the ability to listen, and watch dancers too.

/tellpet follow;/trick2;/trick2;/trick2;/tellpet attack......mindpool troubles solved =)
but seriously, if we could experiment on secondary stats like we could on primary stats, we could make permabuffed pets that would be very unbalanced. If we could only do 1/10 of the experimenting we can with primary stats, thats still up to 1500 on all the secondaries, more if you could experiment each one individually so you could focus on the regen stats, not the specials-cost ones.....combine that with the AR1 and 60% resists they naturally have without having to use consumable armor, and you could pretty much fight all day with only the occasional stim, or not even that if you have twins.

I wonder sometimes if we kill the invisible secondary stats when we boost the primary ones. It could be that our level-killing creatures do so by killing the secondaries. It that is the case, we are doing no favors by boosting HAM.
In the old deeds, it looked as if the secondary stats were following Fortitude, Endurance, and Cleverness, but I didn't get to play with this long enough to be sure. I do know that the values were low to begin with (like the player values are), so even experimentation had the kind of effect of a player migrating stats and not the drastic effect of creating an invincible pet. Also, they seemed to be affected in pairs. There seemed to be no way of divorcing the resistance secondary from the regeneration one. Pet HAM does regenerate. I never heal my pet between lairs, since he has usually recovered by the time we reach the next lair.

My guess is that the secondary stats are still around 40. In the early days of the game probots had crazy high regen (creature pets also I assume) - did not take SOE long to kill regen on pets, they were a tad too strong.
My CH has 4240 medic, then I can use Stim D or Stim E that have med use 40, currently using 767 Stim D and petstims 948. Works very well except for high level monsters - I really have to get some good Stim E.

If you can get a good group to go fishing, watch for good fish spawns and make up a batch of petstim D's. This lets you heal both simultaneously, and since the petstims heal mind, it means the pet doesn't have to be bulled as often for tricking. I make D's but never get more than I need for my group (the one that goes fishing), since it takes so much fish.
At our current levels, I'm talking about high-level dungeons (spider cult and more difficult) or sith thugs. At our current level I'm doing well to get the pet to do any more than get a few punches in on a rancor before one of my group's TKM's brings it down.
