Thread: YMPW DNA

I've been spending the past few days trawling around Dathomir looking for Young Malkloc Plainswalker DNA, with absolutely no success. Tried using the spots listed on swgcreatures and tried using tracking skills (I'm Ranger 4040 as well as MBE).
Does anyone have any spots that they know of that these creatures like to hang out at?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you know ofa similar creature that might be a bit easier to find.
I fancied trying out the receipe YMPW, YMPW, MR, FG, MDH to see what happened.
Your help is much appreciated in advance.

I have only seen these creatures in three locations.
One is near the Lesser Sarlacc where I usually hunt for mutant rancors. Occasionally they will spawn there, but not very frequently.
One is in and south of the Dathomir Tarpits.
One iswest and southwest of Aurelia.
I would imagine you might find a spawn somewhere between the tarpits and Aurelia.

I just pulled some DNA last night off a YMPW near "Rancor City". If you don't know what I'm referring to, give me an in-game mail at Lowca.Hornd and I'll shoot you a WP. I saw tons of them, but since the MPW's (not young) are 100% Kinetic, I had to leave after accidentally agroing one, because neither my wife (TKM) nor my pets could kill them.

There are often half a dozen spawns or more south of the Village. Each spawn usually has 2-3 adults and a YMPW.
This DNA is a favorite of mine.

Thanks for the advice, found some South of the Village, the recipe listed comes out at level 58, 12k HAM, Strong Poison and Disease.

Yeah look around the FS quest village for them, usually see them lurking about. Also around dathomir tarpits.

Just look around when you may be on Dath for other reasons also, different toon or server. I try and note a lot of waypoints for creatures with nice DNA, and now with 0 data cost for them we can have a bunch of waypoints. MR's like to hang out around the Sarlacc, sometimes YMPs also. Or not far from that area.

It use to be that you could never find these guys now they annoying step on you while trying to kill a sith mission. Got to love that dizzy knock down while they step all over you though.
