No this isnt a where in real life do you all live. But Im wondering if anyone has a good spot they like. You know if you are not guilded do you find any particular planet better than the others to pursue you BE type activities?

I have a generic planet house burning a hole in my bank and I wanna settle down!

I live, as you can tell, on Dant near the Mining Outpost - not too crowded, at least not when I settled there. Close enough to a starport that its not a hassle for people to come to the vendor, not too laggy like around Coronet once you get away from the outpost, and plenty of foot traffic unlike Lok or Rori. Also, its nice because you can pick up VD and HP as you tool around checking harvesters and heading in and out of town, so you can keep stocked with templates for nonCH pets to fill anyone's order, I get a lot of tells for people that just want nonCH mounts and decorative pets, and the VD/HP pets are a great gateway pet to get them to buy my 300k MH-template uber pets.

Also nice since the MO bazaar is probably the most activeafter Theed and Coronet, so you can find stacks of specificmeat and bone big enough to make crates of tailor tissues for pretty decent prices.My castle is right next to a little lake too on top ofa cliff- which, aside from being good scenery and the ideal locale for a mad scientists' laboratory, is also nice to go pick up the occasional stack of fish or mollusk should the need ever arise for it.

hmm Dant. I always avoided the adventure planets but now with JTL, my little yacht can take me to any planet I choose cheaply and efficiently. Maybe I'll take a spin out to Dant on my server to see if theres a good spot.

I actually dont have a vendor, Im a CH cross, so its mainly just for fun now, but Im closer to mastering BE than CH!

The DNA samples from Dantwould be a nice incentive.

I used to live just outside AH. First shop people saw as they headed south. Was very good business.

ahh yes the good old days when AH was a major hub and saw foot traffic....allthe ghost vendors around AH now=)

i am guilded but i find rori is a nice place, not to much agro and soem decent mobs but tis dark and dingy there an rains alot

Actually, Talus (at least on Flurry) Looks pretty good. Not to many towns, and I can prolly put up a farm in a permanent spot and keep it going on the named resource you need for Stim B's.

I checked Dant and its just packed. In a 400M radius around the outpost theres solid buildings. Talus looks pretty empty. And I just snagged my first Greater sludge panther. It also seems like theres a bazillion natural lairs all around, good for looking for eggs.

Rori is totally depressing, it would be like living on Dathomir without the scary critters.

Dantooine is the only planet that I spend much time dna sampling on where I can place a house, so I have a "lab" on dantooine. I actually put it out closer to the imperial outpost because that is graul and thune country. I even see the ocasional graul mualer out there .Obviously that is a horrible place for a vendor, but a great place for a lab.

As far as lag goes, it really depends on the server. Try before you buy. Dantooine lag on Bria has at times been worse than coronet lag. I actually used to have all my operations on Dantooine and ended up moving all but my lab, partially because the lag was unbearable.

naboo, near thee,d likewise for my vendor(differnet buulding) seems to be a nice locaiton to live and to sell from

I have a charachter that lives on Talus near the imp outpost starport way convienient for travel and hardly no on goes to the back world
