Ok first let me get intro's out of the way. My name is Jeral andit's been ages since i have posted on this board. I was one of the first MBEs on Flurry after launch and kept it well past the new creature template and dna sampling changes. However I dropped it when the mass holo grind started. Recently I have debated going back to my roots. The few questions i have are:
a) what is new about the profession, lets say in the last 6 months or so, it's easier to cpome out and ask then scroll through countless posts and threads.
b) my forte always was making creatures, thats what my customers knew me for and i made a fortune off of them. However with the chef re-vamp a while back tissues and supplements seemed to be the big BE product, is it still this way?
c) since most of my former customers have left the game, and like i said i am a creature specialist, is it feasible in this current economy and player base to re-start my "industry" with a somewhat lacking CH player base?
I know i can get new customers but i was just looking for some info to bring me up to speed on whats happening in the BE world.
thx Jeral

Nothing new has happened in the profession over the past 6th months. At least nothing major...or really even minor for that matter...
Tissues are a good way to make a lot of money quickly, but only if you can get a cheap meat source. Without the meat supply 'life blood' a tissues business becomes unprofitable.
Pets are still very profitable if u sell to the Non-CH market...but this involves making pets that some deem to be unbalanced. The pet crafting system is still there, and although it is possible to become rich, I wouldn't suggest you go back to BE if you are looking to get rich quick...go back because you loved making pets.

thats why i would go back, i still use pets that were post BE re-vamp (ie lvl 1(0) gurreck 13k ham light armor 50% resists 650-702 damage)
and even some post patch that i loved so much i couldnt get rid of.
thx for the info
