Hi fellow BE's:

Am fairly new to the profesion but i been reading a lot of posts here and they are very helpfull thank you for that

Now my question is why does everytime i make broadnutrients i max at 86 and still have points in experimentation left,(bear with me)oh i am new to the crafting scene as i have always focused on combat profesions and to tell you the truth BE is
a great and fun profesion.

I use very high stats resouces maybe thatz why but i would like to hear your input on this. maybe theres is something i dont know or use while i craft.

The max for the item depends on your resources. You didn't give the stats of what you were using but I would have to say that there are only two ways to break 86:

1) Use better resources
2) Get a critical success on assembly

you cant get 90. You'd need 3 30k resource deeds to even get 89.

"critical success"?

what is that some mix between a crit failure and a success?

I think you mean "amazing success"
hehe

You get a bonus to the max that experimentation can do. I've gotten a couple but they're pretty rare.

Bringing up the stats will help and there are two obvious way to do that:
1) Use better meat. Easier said than done because you have to bring up the low PE while keeping the high OQ and FL
2) Use better wood. I prefer this method, sicne you have three types of wood for each planet/moon. Using wood with an OQ of 978 or higher should get you to 86.

No he means a critical success.

Its the total opposite of a critical failure and according to devs supposedly as common, which is obviously not true. With the removal of crit fail I don't know if crit success is still in game.

Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals

Well it depends on the PE/FL of your meat - if it is quite low then I would suggest using high OQ/PE/FL flora to bring it up rather than extremely high OQ wood.

He's alreasdy using pretty good flora, the odds of getting 950+ on all three stats is a lot lower than getting some 975 OQ wood. I didn't test it with the flora but the simulator said the meat needed the PE to go to 500 before 86s were created. Since there's more flora than meat, I'll assume a similar jump wouldn't be needed but probably still need 950+ with other stats the same.

This is very much server dependent, since I can hit 89s without too much trouble. The resources are old, but I still have a decent amount of them. But then again Starsider has been remarkably blessed with nice spawns. For the most part I stick with 88s.

Its the PE on your meat that is really killing you. Thats what I would work on to get over 86s
