Hi, I am a tailor and am collecting the resources for a BE to make some clothing components for me. I read the BE FAQ and I have the list of what I need. My question is how much does the resource quality play into the modifaction bonuses? For example, if I want the tensile resistance tissue with a +4 melee defense mod, are the final stats random on the assembly (doubtful but just checking) or is it a result of resource quality and experimentation? Also, if it is a result of resource quality, what are the stats that I am looking for to get the max mods? Thanks, I appreciate any info.

It's entirely resource and experimentation driven. Check out this calculator to see what your components are capable of hitting: http://home.houston.rr.com/hobiewan/Seska/swg/TailorTissueCalc.html
