Hi all,
I'm looking for a BE to make up some schems on a running basis for my Chef. I will supply the ingredients and pay well for the 5-10 mins to meet and craft. I was thinking 50k per meet and would expect to get together once per week or so.
I am also willing to trade produce if more amenable. I've just hit Master Chef so creds are a bit tight at mo, I will up contract going rate as my finances ease up.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Rgds, Flere.

wow, didyou ever hit a pretty sore subject with BE. you will probably not get a schematic from any true BE for 50k. I sell them for 1.5 mill... IF I decide to make them

Not sure what's funnier, the fact that he advertised wanting a schematic monkey or that he claimed 50k was well paid?

It is 1 min work + travel time. I have the resources. I can buy 1k BSN's 88's for 1.8m why would I pay 1.5m for the schem when I am supplying factory run and ingredients? I appreciate BE's make their money selling food bio's but I'm a new Chef and cannot afford 1.8m to get started - when I do have some turnover I will be able to buy bio's direct....from whoever is willing to help me in the short run, and I do appreciate there is a certain amount of goodwill required and I will return it when able or trade in kind.

There may be a difference between servers price-wise, but in any case ... consider the differerence between resource prices and final product price ... evenfactoring infactory costs, it's far more than 50k. Remember, this is pretty much the ONLY way BEs make money ... it's collect resource or buy (assign it market value and don't think of it as BE work but resource collector work), make schematic and run in factory (BE work), and sell.

Oh, and many BEs dislike the selling of schematics on principle ... the only time I did so, I also sold some resources at a fair price for the production of the additives, so it WAS more a matter of simply whose factory the work was done in.

Either way my friend. This is not a trade forum. Say's so at the top. You would probably get a better response in your trade forums.

/shakeshead I will never understand the thinking behind someone asking for schems.

I underestimated the value of chef bio's to a BE's income. I have done such trades as AS (buying from tailor, selling to DS's). I am new to Chef so I apologise for my ignorance. I have some quality resources that I think will make reasonably good bio's - would a Master BE be interested in quoting me a price to have them converted into chef bio's pls? I would be willing to trade resources as part payment and look to purchase bio's in the long-run once I start selling product.

Since you've already posted this on the proper trade forum, I'll lock it here.
