I pushed fortitude on 3-4clones last night above 500 and no armor. Can someone confirm? I'm new to B.E. and just playing arround with B.E.'s abilties. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I made a template last night with 5 samples that all had light armor, when I experimented max physique I ended up with 498 fortitude and no armor. WTH??? That doesn't make any sense to me, all the samples were above average quality or better and all had 500+ fortitude, I should have gotten armor with max physique experimentation. Not quite the same problem you had but similar.

If you *just* get AR1 then sometimes it doesn't stick depending on the DNA samples. If, however, you get 600+ fortitude then perhaps its time to get worried and to /bug it.

I made I believe 5 armored pets (real beauts) 2 nights ago and didn't have any problems. Perhaps if you could supply some more details of exactly what you did.
One thing that frequently does happen, and I don't know if this is your situation or not, is:
experiment up physique until you get armor
experiment on some other area and fail (doesn't even need to be a crit fail) -> you may lose your armor.
It's maddening when that happens, and sometimes your pet becomes useless (occasionally it becomes better, lol), but it's a fact of life.

And if you put several points into an area, you may not have even noticed that there was a failure with one of the points.
