Bio Engineer Archive

Hello everyone. Just to let you know I am new to the forums. Well in game I have mastered several proffessions. But something kept telling me to Master Bio-Engineering. Well I started it and thought man what have I gotten myself into, this is alot of Crafting and Sampling. But I kept at it. Now I like it.

I am a 4-4-2-4 in the Bio-Engineering Tree it took me about a month or so to get this far. I am not rich, I am a very poorperson, that is why it took me so long.Finally all my Crafting is out of the way. And I did it all with out Macros, all by hand. So all I have left is DNA III and IV (I have 15K XP into DNA III right now) There is not a point to my post what so ever, I just wanted to say hey to all the Master and Novice Bio-Engineers. i have found this site here very helpful. I have also read the FAQ about BE and it is really helpful, but I am still lost if someone can shed some light on a few questions I have? Well as for the Armor of a pet you are making I am having trouble determining what to sample to get the best armor, and is there a certain slot I put that DNA in or is it just a combination that the others have also to determine the Armor? Like last night I harvested five Sharnaff Bulls, the DNA I got was all Average DNA Samples. But when I made a pet it have very poor armor, Why? Now for the next question, How and what is the best to sample to get me throught the rest of the DNA? And one more, I got Novice Creature Handler, is this a good thing to get(I hope so) and should I Master it or just go up certain tree? WEll I think this is all my questions. Just to let you know I have read all the stuff on BE about DNA and everything I just am still a little unclear on alot of it. Well thank you for taking the time to read this post.
