Thread: Will this pet be nerfed?

Okay, my buddy is a master BE and he gave me two pets about a month ago that were just insane! LVL 10 with 10k HAM and 440 Attack, I mean this is a non-CH's dream come true! Anyway, shortly after I got them, they were nerfed 
However, I have since found a guy that has pretty much the same thing... lvl10 Razor Cat, 10k HAM, high damage, poison, etc... that is fully callable and I checked it all out. Looks good, but will patch 6 Nerf it? I mean, I am not gonna shell out the 2 mill + that these things are going for if they are gonna be gone in a couple days, it just doesn't make any sense! He told me that they already Nerfed these things and that the ones that remained had "leaked" through and were actually safe from harm on this patch... if anyone has anything on this, let me know! Thanks

This is, from dev statements andinfo I have read on TC, completely false. The devs openly stated that the first pass at a pet hotfix didn't work so they pulled it and would be re-doing it this publish. Second, we have seen a couple of posts from people here and on test stating that formerly CL10 pets were having to make a choice to either re-calculate the CL (up to around 30 or so I saw) or re-do the stats to make them legal. Last I saw the stat re-shuffle was broken - and even if it does work I would expect it to be pretty harsh.
Also, just a word of caution - if, post-patch, you see pet deeds with extremely high stats still be wary. I have not heard anything about the CL fix code changing deeds themselves, just pets once they are tamed.

They should be nerfed and most likely will. A regular pet with 10k ham is usually lvl 30 or higher. The level seems to be based on ham/damage and not on the specials, so dont concern yourself with specials.

Your best bet is to wait until after the patch and see if they work because as we all know, Nothing is Safe
