So, I am finally a novice BE and a few thoughts.
Crafting XP is a pain isn't it? The DNA Sampling isn't that bad though. My first attempt at creating a pet was a critical failure 
My second attempt was a gnort with about 123/249/103 HAM 45dmg 4% blast resist. Not too bad for being totally clueless. I can't wait to be sampling mutant rancors and the like. Very fun profession, just can be expensive and very time consuming...
