I have gone all the way up the domestic arts branch and after hours of searching for the tailor trainer it says i do not have the skills required. does anyone know what i have to do next. i have Domestic IV, Surveying IV Engineering III.

do you have the 32,000 or so general crafting xp to get novice tailor?

No, you need an NPC trainer to train the novice skills (including novice tailor).

Or at least it was like that at the end of beta.

Every other skill you can learn from a player, but not the novice ones.

You still need an NPC trainer for novice. It costed me 5,000cr at the trainer in Doaba Guerfel.

I just started playing SWG and want to play as an Artisan but I'm not really understanding it. It is all kinda confusing for someone new to the game. Any website suggestions or any helpful suggestions on how to play this class or whatever. I guess what I'm saying is help...

Welcome to Starsider! Artisan is great...but a little slow at times. All you have to do is use your crafting tool and assemble the items you have schematics for...as you progress you will get more options. The biggest pain is having plenty of the resources you need. You can usually buy whatever you need or you can collect them yourself by harvesting (if you are also a scout) or by sampling. You can also set up harvesters, but this requires a lot of time and effort, so sometimes it is best left to those professional miners who stock pile huge amounts of resources...

Good luck! what do you think you will do as your profession? (ie. droid engineer, architect, weaponsmith...)

I'm not sure yet what proffesion yet I am just trying to get started and not sure how the entire thing works. Hope I can get it figured out real fast.
