Thread: An idea for all you bio-engineers

1st of all id like to say that im NOT a bio-engineer but really do thank you all for making CH so fun to be ( I am a MCH ). I was thinking a good skill for THEM to add for you is "reverse engineering"...kinda like shipwrights have and to take a couple already made or player owned and combine their best skills together to make even better. EXAMPLE :Right now i have 2 cl 70 rancors, 1 with good damage i use for grinding and 1 with great health and regeneration for pvp...I'd love to "combine" them and get an all purpose rancor and being BIO-ENGINEERS i think you should have that skill...just my opinion
P.S. A big thanks to chewofro,darksidebio and vectorttt ( my favorite bio-eng's )

we can sorta do that... as long as you don't tame them first. we can sample DNA from pet deeds, and recombine it.
unfortunately, this sometimes kills the donor (more accurately... it USUALLY kills the donor). worse? the 're-cloned' results are often unusable.
the cloning system ain't what it used to be.
you'll find that a specialized pet, like the ones you're using now, is superior to a pet with mediocre health, damage, regen, and the rest. Dorelli and Namessiah (among others... it was a fantastic group effort) have done GREAT work in isolating the effects that individual stats have on a final CL.
you CAN have everything... you just can't have it at the target CL. it is a delicate balancing act, and the GOOD BioE's are probably lurking around here, using the knowledge-base that we've put together, making pets that push the limits of the crafting system we've all been shackled with.
