Now that Lammergeier has announced his intention to step down I maybe will not leave BE (just yet). I would like to apply for correspondant, I *think* I might finally be qualified and if I get it, then Iwill be able to speak for BE on the correspondants forum and I don't know if that will do any good, but I would like the chance to try.

I amposting it here first becauseI just didn't want it to come as a surprise and for people to think I was hypocritical.

They will now throw the field open to applicants and we will be invited to apply. I would like to encourage each and every one of you who would like to be correspondant to send in your letters when Tiggs sends out the invitation for letters. I will be one of many applicants, I know and I may very well not get it. We've all been thru so much together that I think I could fairly say that most of us can speak for us and say that which needs to be said ...

If I do NOT get it, then I will have to think about whether I really want to turn my back on BE (I'm BE 0404 at the moment), or what.

If I DO get it, my focus will be, as always, on information transfer between BE's, and doing my bit to make the profession better. I'll also spend some time to grind up a master BE on test so I know what I'm talking about.

no-one deserves it more than you dor but thats just my opinion i guess. I not posted here in a while but everytime i do dor always posts back to help - she gets my vote.

Imho, there areabout 4-5 here that are qualified for it....but you would be my first choice, Dor.

IMHO no one could be a more worthy candidate if it was the community, who decided who should be cor... But its the devs ...so be sure to write a good application....

Well Dor I'm glad you are steping up to this one. I don't have the time or abilitiy to deal with more DEV's than I do nowin BETA. I think you are the best choice for the job and I hope they listen to your insight. Your drive and nature area big + for this. Maybe they will start listening as more and more crafters are leaving, and hopefully they will implement changes you suggest!!!

P.S. If they care I'm sure we will all sign your application in support!!
