Thread: Is this new?
So I went to the Mos Eisley cantina today to play bartender for a bit when I ran into this NPC called Wuher. He stand behind the bar. If you converse with him he ask if you would like a drink. After clicking yes I got a menu to choose from.
He sells Blue Milk, Tatooine Sunburn, Vasarian brandy and lots of other drinks, for anywhere between 4 and 10 credits. The catch is that none of them have any stats. Has he been around since release and I just never noticed?
In my opinion this is stepping on chef's toes a little bit too much and automating our role in cantinas.Although most of us chefs dont seem to spend much time in cantinas anyway.
While waiting for Kettenmoor to finish loading I decided to mess around with the character creation screens on one of the servers that was already up. I noticed two things that I dont remember seeing when creating my Kettenmoor character:
- There is an age slider in character creation
- You can opt to create a Zabrak without tattoos
Is this new? Or was I just not paying attention when I made my Zabrak toon?

No, those have always been there.

THe age slider appering is determined by your graphic card's abilities I believe.
(And many have said that their wives hit them upside the head... apparently females don't age gracefully in SWG hehehe)
And a Zabrak without tatoos seems to me to be simple. Like a Twilek with no markings. Just get a tattoo the same color as your skin would work it seems. Or color your markings the same as your skn for a Twi'lek. (Though we have the option... zabraks may too.)
i know if you succeed any "effectiveness" resistences will actually show up and may be higher when expirementing
also, dunno if they fixed it or not, each exp point has two rolls (for each stat it modifies) and only gives you a msg of the average result /shrug
D'oh, you're right. Even though the snapper and Death's Head (I was using not for resists but for specials) have resists to every damage type, they are all 'effective', which is calculated differently than special protection. The blast, stun, and acid 'effective' from the mutant rancor in Physique were shared with the other samples, which is why the other categories fared better on % once AR1 popped.
I imagine I would have much better results in those categories had I used mantigrue reaper instead of kamurith snapper. Thanks for the heads up on that. ![]()
