seems like a moot project, but wanted to try it out simply cuz theres not really good dna to support AR1 energy without kinetic resist... after a few generations i got kinetic less than 10 and kept energy above 40 andsomething very strange happened... the kinetic resist shot up about 10 points each time i experimented into physique, but not with other stats
my first thought isthat fortitude is linked with kinetic resist... which would also suggest that other characteristic slots are linked with other resists too, butwas also thinkin it could be because kinetic vulnerability is at a value other than -99i wanna play around with this some more, and with otherresists as wellbut im gonna put it on the shelf for the time being
has anyone encountered something similar to this?

what samples were you using? If they were all kinetic effective then yes, you'll get kin fluctuating with fortitude....its not just kinetic, all effective resists will go up with physique exp, and all special protection will always stay locked.

The two creatures I'd suggest looking at are riverside sulfur mynock (Lok) and blood stained merek (endor.

i was using blood stained merekdna in physique prowess and aggression and normal skreeg warrior dna for mental and psych, not elite... i was gettin good stats but trouble with these samples is that fortitudewont go more than 300 on first generation so i was breeding in high fortitude dna that hadeffective and/or special kinetic resists (cant recall particular samples) trying to keep the kinetic resist below 0 whilst getting fortitude above 500. itstruck me thatnonaturally occurringdnaexiststhat would make a pet like this, which was the impetus for the project in the first place, but i dunnoi haventconsideredskreeg warrior elite orriverside sulfurmynock dna in my conclusion

The trouble is that trying to "breed in armor" and keeping the resists unchanged is nearly impossible. That is because the physique is the biggest contributor to both fortitude and resistances, so you really can't get one without the other. Just use the riverside sulfer mynock in slots 1,2,5, and mix it with anything you like in slots 3 and 4, and you'll get the desired result.
