Thread: Something to think about when making pets in the CU

A buddy of mine is a Master CH (he's also a Master Rifleman) and I was asking him what he looks for in a pet. He said the damage a pet does means absolutely nothing to him. He only looks at the HAM, resistances, armor, and specials (mostly intimidation). It makes sense if you think about it. I think most CH's will use a pet to tank, not for the damage. So a CL only matters in twins or triplets, at least as far as my friend's concerned. And I've also heard that from other CH's as well. So as far as making pets go, I think CL for damage isn't a primary concern for us, it's the other things we have to worry about.
That's what I've heard too. However, with the CU changes all of this can change.

If hes a MCH master rifleman on TC5 then I really gotta find out where those trainers are. If not then im assuming that your reffering to normal servers which has absolutely no bearing at all on the CURB.
Im trying to say that in the C/U/R/BCL DIRECTLY affects how much damage you/your pet takes. So those CL22 AR1 60% kinetic beautes will not be as effective tanks as they were before. And those CL10 monsters will be pretty much useless.
Also grouping will increase CL as well.So the real question is which will raise your CL more? Grouping with one CL70, 2 CL35s, or 3 CL 22-25s.
And just so ya know creatures got a huge damage boost in the CU.

So non-CH pets in a solo group will be more powerful than they are now?
