...for an RP guild on Chilastra. The guild is Rebel, and commando/special ops based, stealing aspects from Stargate SG-1 (ie. uniforms, names, script ideas, etc) to make ourselves into a more unique guild.
Our "SG-2" (Strategic Group Two) team is being outfitted as a covert/strike team, taking into consideration the requirements for destroying a faction base. We don't know how often we'll be doing this, but having a strike unit capable of taking down faction bases is always useful.
If the BE were to combine their skills with Combat Medic, that would be very useful, as would any other combat-based skillset. We already have a would-be Doctor/BE who is getting trained up in preparation for the CURB...so healing skills aren't entirely necessary. What we do need is people capable of dealing damage when we need them to.
The only restriction is that you have to be capable of attacking Imperial targets. Whether that meanst Rebel or Neutral, I don't know. But since we'll be heading after the Imperials, being unable to attack them could be a major problem. It is also preferred that, if you are a pilot, that you have the Rebel Pilot profession...but its not the end of the world if you don't.
I think that's everything. Contact me over the forums, or /tell (or mail) chilastra.orbren in game. Out currently under construction website can be found here

For the actual base attacking part, BE's (and the team that takes down the base) must not only be declared combattant, but they must also declare as special forces. It's not possible to do this as a neutral nor is there any point really.
Just a small correction: they only have to be Special Forces if they are taking down a PvP base. For PvE bases, Combatant status is good enough.
As for the original poster, your Doc/BE will be enough to take down a base. The only requirement is the Novice box.

Yes...but our Doc/BE is our Chief Medical Officer. This is for an RP guild, so I want one of the regular teams to have a combat-capable person in that slot. The CMO might be capable to taking the base down, but in any mission other than that, they're screwed, since they've only got Novice Pistoleer.
