Thread: Dantooine Milk ?????????
Where are you finding milk? Regardless of the planet, where are you finding it? If you don't want to post it for fear of loseing profit, then please mail me the info since I am on a different server as you.
Thanks!
I think he's pulling your leg.
He may have 1, rather than the 1 short of 100k.
99,999 ??????
Awfully strange number don't you agree? Sounds like an exploit to me. I've never seen more than one or two units of milk from medical forage. Milks as rare as holocrons.
Please, let us know!
Seriously, I'm on Valcyn... I won't spoil your monopoly.
I will share with you guys what I know about a source on milk but it comes complete with the caveat that it's probably NOT worth the effort to try and get it. It pops in the Loose Debris at the Witches' Battleground on Dathomir...location is -2600 1550 and best way to get there is from the Agro Outpost. And no matter what happens in the way of drops, the experience really rocks out there so you can finish up some of your combat or CH leveling in pretty short order. And you can harvest quite a decent quantity of rancor meat (average of 95 perbeastie)which is useful for grinding TE crafting. That's the good news.
Bad news is:
Do not bring a 55 gallon drum with you to hold the moo juice. In two consecutive evenings, my groupsgot TWO drops of milk, neither one of which was in sufficient volume to be usable and which did not combine.
Do NOT forget to clone since you will be making the trip back and forth numerous times.
Be prepared to burst run on the way out to the battleground since there is an incredible amount of red con agro for the first 2k meters, most of which DB. Mask scent seems to be perfume to them so best way is to run around 'em(if you can) no matter how far out of the way it takes you.
Oh, and did I mention that you will have to fight nightsisters and singing mountain clan AND their respective rancors just to get a shot at the white stuff? Soloing is really out of the question here unless you think you can sneak in to check the loot piles during the heat of battle. I tried that and got a fast trip home so wouldn't recommend it. Based on my experience at the battleground which is admittedly pretty minimal, best chance for success isa group which includes at least one really GOOD Master Creature Handler with top of the line pets, a doc for buffage and rezzing as well as major first aid on pets and peeps for long duration bleed control or a Combat Medic prepared to blow an incredible quantity of ranged heals, and a slicer to open magseal (um...what's that anyhow?) containers. A master dancer is most desirable since you WILL spend some time in camp recovering fromserious BF. The mind buffs he/she will give are not absolutely essential to your survival but may prevent you from having to take out a mailing address at thebattlefield. One or more TKAs will be quite helpful altho they tend to take a LOT of dirt naps while mind incapped.
If you die at the battleground, try to call one of your group members on the phone to let 'em know where you need the rez. You want to avoid even looking at your keyboard since the autoclone bug is alive and well in that area and a single keystroke may provoke a bite.
The CHs in the group might want to consider using pets that have already taken hits to their vitality rather than their100% favorites unless the pets are totally expendable. My brand new, first time I ever took him off the data paddeliriousmereck went to 90/100 at the same time I auto'd even tho he wasn't in combat or damaged at the time...nice little extra, doncha think? LOL)
There are some unique drops there but they are few and far between. What we routinely got was 2 drops per container of mostly average stuff in quite low quantities and pretty abysmal qualities on about a five - ten minute timer. Keep checking the Loose Debris...even when there are no resources inside, you can get some coin out of it....like 75 to 118 credits now and then. I have been told the rancors drop bile but didn't see any so not sure that's accurate.
Best tactic for long term survival is to pick off the mob spawn one by one if you can. Once you get a full spawn, until they start fighting one another, even an uber group doesn't have a very good chance of having all members come out alive and healthy. Thereis a good deal of down time between spawns so you DO have time to heal up between fights or run back if you bought the farm during the battle.
Take extra guns and weaponsof all types. Each mob has different resists and there's no point in arming a weapon to which the mob is 100% resistant. I used a scout blaster, FWG5 and DX2 and needed all three...plus spares...since powerups are almost a necessity for small groups...and they burn your weapons fast. Pack plenty of stims and pet stims...you'll need 'em...and some vitality packs as well, especially if your group will include droids.
If you decide to take a shot at this, do post the results of the hunt, please. I would be interested in hearing how other groups fared out there and whether there are other suggestions to improve the prospects of successful hunting. Frankly, the way things stand now, I don't have a whole lot of interest in doing this again any time soon unless the drop rate or drop quantity improves a good bit.
Cheerio and good hunting!

It is the resource dupe. Report him. Any CSR that finds him with that milk WILL* confiscate it and warn him. The next warning is a ban.
