this game is really getting to be about as worthless for fun as anything I've ever seen before. I just wasted credits, skill points and a hell of a lot of time as well as crafting points I could have used elsewhere to get be, only to find there is no way to sample dna from the animals. I put in a ticket on it, but know that the csr's are about as worthless as the game itself most the time, for not answering them so I post here.. hoping someone will tell a newbie be how the hell do I get dna? thanks in advance if you answer.

/dnasample . You have to make your own macro for it because no dev has taken the few minutes it will take to make one themselves that all BEs get so you don't have the kind of problems you have.

If you are looking for any respect whatsoever from the people that you are paying your money to, you picked the wrong profession. Until last month we made a product that buffed a skill taken out of the game during beta...

1. You goto a tailor.

2. Ask for the tight fitting rubber gloves.

3. After patch. Put all items that decay into vault. You know, clothes. weapons.

4. Goto local critter hunting grounds.

5. Spray your self with masked scent as needed..

6. Walk nice and slow to the above critters. Slower as needed. They get this ? over there head. I think it nice them to let us know they woundering who this fool is with no cloths and wearing rubber gloves. NOTE: When they have the ! over there head the also showing you they remember the last fool with the rubber gloves and that they didn't like it.

7. Tell the critter to bend over but the method of /sampledna while withen and remaining withen 15M of it. After all it is a long reach with them gloves. Often they just want to hope you go away and do nothing. That is if walked slow enough and sprayed on enough masked scent.

8. At this point the critter may attack, jump or do nothing. Depends on how gentel you are. Since you are nacked and have no gun from the above steps. Attacking is a really bad thing but then again, If I don't get dead in every 5 samples at least, I fell I am being to gentle.

There ya have it.

NOTE: There really is not rubber gloves (though should be) and no spray masked scent (though is a ranger thing of it)

It really is just get withen 15M of critter and use a macro you have to make with /sampledna in it.

lol thanks you guys, and I was asking about the gloves as far as the respect, I don't think there is any profession that gets any on this game.. it's a shame, cause it's a neat profession. hey, if they can get plates from a dragon in bulk, then why is it we can't get dna samples in bulk to be able to do a factory run on animals? I would still like to have the ability of making a crate of kaduus so I don't run out of mounts

you know, we go to all the trouble of writing a faq, it even gets stickied, and people dont even read or refer to it.

sorry, I don't read all stickies and did look for something of this nature before I posted. I was surprised however to find outthat a csr did answer my ticket. she told me that this was part of the enjoyment and playing of the game, that she could not tell me how to sample dna. guess be is nothing but a guessing game within a game? wonder what the game would be like if every class had to guess what it was that they had to do to complete their given profession.. interesting.

It would be great to respond that your credit card number had changed, and that you could not tell her what the new one was. She would have to guess it. Part of the enjoyment and fun.
