I am tired of BE. Tired of the constant tells for pets tailored made from people who have no idea that the process to make a specific pet CL and special attacks is a whole lot harder than making a high damage pistol, with a lot more time involved. I am getting rid of the profession. I have recently gone on a DNA spree to make some decent pets bvefore giving it up, and am confused with the new clone changes. I have seen Sumo's equation on resistances (kudos to Sumo for the regression =), but need guidance on the special and ranged attacks. I want to use my Bull Rancor Plague Strike attack with my spider or voritor ranged attack. Can this be done? and if so, by placing what DNA in what slot? I would appreciate the help from some fellow Master BEs who may take pity on a fellow master Be who hasn't really dealt with the cloning system till now cause of all the bugs. Thanks!

I just got done answering some of this in http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=48592however let me have a go at the rest. Plague strike, posion spray and a few other attacks are area of effect and cannot be brought through to a clone. The ranged attack should be gotten through of the time if the sample if very high quality and placed in the mental slot.Personally I've had better luck placing the sample in both mental and psychological. I'd look for some frenzied/ancient graul DNA for the physical slot if you want kinetic resist. Watch out for the whole special vs effect resist problem.

Sorry to see your possibly tootling off to other pastures.

The Specials you seek are not allowed to "stick" in the crafting of a BE pet, Plauge Strike / Open Wounds and anyAoE will not carry down.

Typically the 5th slot ( aggression ) is the Main % for the Specials with lesser weight given to Slots 1 , 2 , 3 , 4.

From what I've seen when one of the non-stick specials is in slot 5 it will reach the final as a empty Special " ---" or/and will be replaced by a special that is allowed from one of the ones in slots 1 to 4.

With all the changes and no info as to the system workings or hints as to the workings of the system ( except as found by the other players ) and the fact that I tirealso of the , " Can't you whip together a pair of CL35's with the same stats? I'd like 12K ham, 650+ damage and Resists in the 75% to 100% range. " I maybe tootling off as well.
