Obviiuosly they're located on Endor but in all the travelling I've done, I still have yet to actually see one. Is there an area where thy can typically be found? Not asking for a specific wp but general area so i can narrow my search.

Merek Death Heads are one of my favorite things to sample! With strong Poison / Strong Disease special attacks they make nice CL35 dmg dealers (when mixed up with some other stuff and sampled downa generation or two) that are good for either PvE (poison) or PvP (disease). You gotta mix them with some bull rancor or mutant rancor to get up the resists for PvP though.

3800 5700 on Endor

The static spawn point isn't that bad, since all the mobs have AoE attacks. So, just like rancors, any aggro you get will normally trigger them to fight each other while you run away.

In the northern desert, I've also seen them on the way up there, but only a couple of times...try towards the right-hand side, I have a horrible time with east/west...

King Mereks are usually shy creatures, only time that I see them ona regular basis is the final pop out of a Toxic Merek Battlelord nest and they usually come out with a few friends looking for trouble

There is a static spawn point in the Northeast Desert where there are a couple stone huts in which spawn a single King Merek and about 5 or 6 Merek Harvesters. Ask around for soeone to send you a WP to the Merek Huts till you fidn someone who knows what you are talking about.

Worked a lair last night of Creepers and Assasins just for pistol xp. The final spawn launched 3 TMB's, a couple Assasins and a Merek King. So you may have to work some lairs to spawn them now. Unfortunately didnt get any samples as we were barely able to stay alive as it was. Good luck!

I got 4 samples from a king harvestor after a harvestor/death head lair poped...along came 4 tmb's 4 dh's 2 harvestors and the king....nasty...died when the lair popped ...but I got back in time to still get the samples from the king.

I have the wp to the huts, but haven't been ingame to get the coords...it'sabout 1/4 in from the right-hand side of the desert though hehe, about 1/3 of the way up...4 little huts and a bigger one, be warned, they like to go inside the hut, but you can sample them through the walls bwahahaha...
