sorry to sound stupid , but how does camo work . i wear +45 in total to camo so my skills say 0 / +45 . does this mean i get the +45 bonus to camo? . what does camo do? . i need a camo kit?? how does it work with mask scent ?? . any help would be great .

Camo is a Ranger ability that replaces /maskscent; however it requires a component in order to utilize. /Conceal (which is camo) hides you from creatures AND NPC's. In order to craft the camo kits, you first need to gain skill in the Ranger Wayfaring line; the advanced planets don't come along until Wayfaring 3, 4, & Master for Dathomir. ANYONE can wear camoflauge however only a Ranger can apply it to the person and/or themselves. Like /maskscent camo does have a chance to been detected. I personally use both my /maskscent and my /conceal depending upon what level of creature I'm going up against, but thus far /maskscent works pretty well for me, albeit my camoflauge skill is at +80 (I dropped Master Ranger to pick up BE).

0/+45 is the same as 0. If you do not have a skill mod from a class, bonuses do not apply.

If your not a Ranger... get some BE clothes with some Mask Scent power up stuff. Honestly if your not a Ranger, having camo applied to you is near worthless.

Camo for the ranger him/herself works good though. Just get some scouting skills and bring up the mask scent skills.

What if you have rifleman withskill mod cover +80 and the ability to sneak, along with mask scent. Will that help with Sampling, justwondering myself as I find it very hard to get close to some of the higher lvl creatures. Anybody know if this works?

Well as I am only at novice BE and havent experimented much.. I tried out sampling the first time the other day. I figured I may have an unfair advantage. I have +100 in Mask Scent in Skill Mods, and (supposedly... doubt it works) +115 extra from my clothes. Thats a whopping +215! Anyways I walked up to many the feral gurks and sampled them...

So I think that maybe what you have will help a bit. Im not sure what level your mask scent is at though. I think that is the most important thing. Man i ramble.
