Thread: Resources in Final Build?
You know how, say if you're making a Droid Battery, the Conductivity effects the overall quality of the final item? Are their similar stats on the resources (Food/Flora) that affect the outcome of the pet's "body."
In other words, obviously when making the DNA template you try to use the best rating for each slot, but what (if anything) influences the final process when combining the template with Food and Flora? Overall Quality? Potential Energy? Flavour? (Hmm... Chocolate Dewbacks...)
Anybody any info on this?
Thanks,
Tyl
The current rumor is that Quality of meat and flora resources added at the final step does not influence creature stats.
Thanks.
I'd done some experimenting myself with various resources, but my skills are pretty unreliable
so I couldn't form any sort of conclusion either way.
Thanks again for the info.

With the first use meat with OQ = 232 and, with a great succes, make a gnort with HAM 103/85/85
With the second use meat with OQ = 928 and, with only moderate succes, make a gnort with HAM 121/103/103
So with same DNA template, made a better gnort with a good OQ in meat even if success was not great.
I used same flora food for two gnort...
Were you DNA templates Exactly the same (they look slightly differing) also the Dna used to make those tyemplats were they exactly the same, i doubt it. The difference in your twoexamples really isnt that big.
I think what people are after is wether meat/flora rises/lowers Cl by say 5-10 levels or gives then 2k+ham more.
Just my interretation...but i have seen wild differences using same flora/meat across a whole range, it more on what dna is put where and how you use your experimentation points ![]()

So why i had two different pets with only use different meat with very different OQ?

Maybe the first template turned out a lesser quality than the second ? (template says wether it is low quality or else...)

he's got a point, i used some low quality samples to make a jax and it was about 3k HAm and i used average quality samples from the same type of creature and a jax was 5.5k HAM
no experimentation (pointless for me at the moment)
And for these i used two aa and three a DNA from putrid decay mite. And no use a station so can't experiment.
It might...

Ok so you think that generic DNA template wasn't same quality and difference are here?
I don't know...

So why my two generic are quasi same?

[snipped DNA info]

The answer comes from the success values you report for the two combines. In anything less than a Great Success result, one of the two values goes up and the other goes down. Assuming your 1 experiment point was in Physique, my guess would be that your Moderate Success was actually an Amazing Success for Hardiness and a failure in Fortitude.
Since all DNA samples vary slightly in theirstats, even when sampled from the same creature, that can easily explain the differences in Action and Mind between the two combines.
