Greetings,

I made novice BE last night, planning to play the profession to master for my own interest, not merely to grind for the sake of dropping it for the next holochron whisper. I'm looking for pointers as to how to progress, what to look for, and how to become a master in the field, not just for the title but to make the best critters for friends and to enjoy my work.

I am a master CH on another server, with one of the top pre-patch gurrecks as my primary pet, and I have worked extensively with the master tailors on bio-enhanced clothing, so I have a decent idea of what we can do, just not a great grasp of how to best do it. On Chilastra I am also working towards master doctor, so I make good advanced med components already, and my first pet stims have been quite decent.

With my faithful first creation, little bunny Froo-Froo by my side, a tuxedo-colored Vir Vur with 1k HAM and a dizzying strike special attack, I am bravely facing the challenge of poking critters in the tail with a needle, and looking for any pointers on how to become a true mad scientist, from some of my fellow evil geniuses. I'm ready to brave the torches and pitchforks of the villagers to advance the great work of Dr. Frankenstein and the wonders of the InClone technicians.

Welcome to BE, it's the funest profession as I can tell. Here are some suggestions:

1. Do the DNA samping and travel to all places to know what you going to have later on. Look closly into the sample and understand the relationship on the attributes.

2. Create little pets and sell them to the bazzard to have a bit income and insparation.

3. For pure xp, really just grind it with the coffee pot thingy. Get meats and flora as much as possible.

4. Have fun !!

We are in the same server so give me a tell if u need training, I will be glad to help if I can.(I don't need the apprentice xp, just offering the help since I know its rather hard in financial as a BE to begin with).

I have a few advantages; on Naritus I a one of the best known medical resource dealers, so I know where and how to get the resources, and what stats matter most for them. I am at level 2 in Doctor med crafting, so I can make quite good advanced components already. (Give me a shout if you need ABEC's or ALS components, I am running 8-10 crate runs now, so I have good components to make pet stims).

Best of all, I am partnered with a lovely master dancer / nearly master Architect, so harvesters, factories, decent crafting stations and the all important mind buffs are mine for the asking. My B and C medic stims sell reasonably quickly on the bazaar for decent cash flow, and I traded some credits to someone starting a character on Naritus for a good starting bankroll here. Our town's mayor is a master tailor, so she is dying for me to provide her with tissues and doing all she can to help me get rolling. We also have a good friend that is a CH well on his way to Master, so we have great access to training as well as testing of my creations.

All in all, I am ready to delve into the frankencritter business with gusto, and looking forward to how well I can do at this; I started the character because with the new patch this just looks like too much fun.

if your going to make custom pets later on make sure to ask for specific info as possible. armor/specials/resists/ purpose are all importat. I cant believe how many people ask for for a good pet and thats all. so I inform them they need to give me more specif info and go from there.. end up with some happy customers.. and dont forget you can always make cheap "furniture pet" hehe these are quite cool when used right.
