Fellow BE's...

My time here is waning. Due to the arrival of my 2nd child into the real world on April 7th, I'm going to be throttling back my SWG experience.

As a result, I'm going to be dropping the BE profession and altering -Cookiepuss- to be more casual player friendly. Mostly soI can log on once a week and blow stuff up for an hour if I want to. Who knows, maybe I'll even play my Jedi.

I'm not big on announcements, in fact my style is to just fade away, but I didn't feel it was right to not thank a few of the people that made my SWG experience really fun and worthwhile.

Sumorex - your early posts in the FAQ formed the foundation for everything that I later discovered about making great creatures. I have always found your posts to be informative, down-to-earth, well thought out and free of ego or chest thumping.

Mirrl - as with Sumorex, your posts saved me probably at least a month of beating my head against a wall documenting the system.

Talthazzar - My first impression of you was "Wow, why are there 45 posts stickied in the BE forum?" but I think you are a fine correspondent. You have put up with a lot (e.g., being told by the devs no new pet checks, etc.) and you have a good balance between keeping us informed and enjoying the game and real life. You are eventempered, patient and thorough and I appreciate yourrepresentation.

Lozareth - My co-consipirator on a number of things. You'll hearfrom me in game, but I've enjoyed our experiments and experiences.

Tal-N -Most of the time, I found myselfreading your posts and thinkingyou were the most arrogant, opinionated SOB in the game and I frequently disagreed with your point of view, but you made the forums fun and entertaining and I respect your willingness to passionately make your case and your knowledge of the profession. You have also given a lot to the BE community.

There are a number of others that made this a lot of fun - NancyJ, ArthurDent, and others I'm forgetting...

We all know that people who play a lot of video games are "nerds" (even if we look like super models, jocks or ..well.. nerds) and that is certainly true of the BE profession. I consider us the "uber-nerds" because only we would be attracted to a profession that is this complex, has no documentation, and involves so much math.I feel fortunate to have been a part of it.

Thanks to all.

Cheers-

Good luck with your new kiddie, the thought of a new generation of SW lovers is always welcoming although I do question the sanity behind havinganother spawn of Nemthang running around in the world Not nearly as scary as a spawn of Tal-N running around though as it seems is now possible within the next 2 years though lol

Thanks for at least respecting what I know even if you don't agree with it, guess I'm just one of those guys people love to hate.

No hate or even dislike on this side of the table, Tal-N. I have a belief that opposing points of view are the lifeblood of discussion and I give you props for stating your position passionately and being willing to stick by it. You are an asset to the BE community.

Good luck with your second child. We are expecting our first this fall, probably the same day that JTL comes out

Congrats and damn . No more teasing you about how good some Brian resources for BE have been lately. It has most certainly been a pleasure

Lozareth is long gone.
