I cant give the recipies for the xlent pets I have made cos I dont record it.
I go about things by just exploring out the best and most interesting dna I can find till I cant carry any more.
Then I go home and drop a few on the pile on my floor and pick up a few from previous trips off of the same pile.
Then I go through the stats of the dna in my pack using the crafttool and place the bits i think are right for certain slots , in.
If I have a couple of bits I really want in the mix I keep em seperate - and if I think I might do better in a slot than wat I have in my pack , I dive into the pile on floor.
I read these boards now and then and try and take in some facts uve all found and even paste stuff into notepad.
But although I have huge respect (debt of gratitude) for your scientific approach to this cloning problem - it is not how I cango about it - I dont in rl and nor can I here - my fun is with playing with the dna - the more I play with it the more I get a 'feel' for it.
I have learned some good basic rules here that have made things far less confusing for me - BUT - I do have a concern about everyone being able to make the best pet for any job by following a recipe.
I want to be able to keep the magic that occurs now when u know its not a crit and the window goes blank thinking bout your luck ![]()
I dont know if I want to know what is about to pop out - I get bored with fishing in aquariums
To those who say its too complicated - forget the figures (not literally I suppose) and use my equation
good dna = good pets bad dna = bad pets all the fiddly complicated bits = nice surprises
I love Rancors -I hate them - they frighten me
