Hi peps,

Well its finally happened, I've made a CL69pet and I am really pleased as it had everything the customer wanted (you herd me right its not for me )

Here’s the stats:

CL69 (dur)

Health : 13135 Action: 12040 Mind: 10963

Light armour, 39% Kinetic, 60% Energy, 19% Blast, 87% Heat/Cold/Elec, Acid Vulnerable, 19% Stun

1.99 Attack speed 0.56 to hit 550-560dmg Special1: Knockdown, Special2: Crippling Strike

They wanted 2 posture changing specials because they have AE Dizzy as there Rifleman.

Here’s what I did.... Went to Dantooine to get Grassland Voritor Tracker DNA (it was VHQ), went to Dathomir and got 1 sample of mutant rancor DNA (it was AAQ), got 11 samples of Bull rancor DNA (they where HQ or VHQ).

Put 4x Bull rancor DNA with 1x Grassland Voritor Tracker (this DNA went in Aggression slot), experimented in Physique x2, Psychology x 2, rest in aggression then the last few points split evenly as I failed once or twice, I always do 1 point at a time.

From that pet deed took 1 VHQ sample and put that with 4x Bull rancor DNA same experimentation, took 1 VHQ sample from the second pet and put it with 3x HQ Rancor Bull DNA and 1x AAQ Mutant Rancor DNA, (Mutant rancor DNA in Physique slot and 2nd pet DNA in Aggression slot so the special attacks stuck) the great thing was when I experimented I didn’t fail on a single point, did same experimenting as with previous pets and then Viola! CL69 pet in a Sand panther body was born

Well I hope this helps some people, I think I could have gotten a slightly better Kinetic resist (but lower others slightly) if I used some Barkmite Queen DNA from Endor.

P.S. Sorry I wont tell you what server I'm on and I asked the customer not to tell anyone who made the pet cause the amount of /tells and emails would drive me nuts

Good luck everyone

Acid vulnerability is something I try to avoid since two of the more powerful weapons in the game are Acid based plus almost every ranged profession has at least one Acid based gun they will take around with them. Put simply if this was taken into PvP you'd find it being eatten alive by commandos, BHs and Pistolleers. Nice work anyway, just needs to be focussed towards a fixed purpose otherwise it can't fullfill it's complete potential.

Not so sure the acid is that big of a problem. NONE of the acid weapons are going to do dammage fast enough to put this thing down. Added to the fact that most commandos don't carry or use the Heavy Acid Rifle ( HAR ) or the Acid Launcher you can take them out of that group. The bigest acid users are going to be Carbineer and Pistoleers. Sure any one wiht master marksman can use a DXR6 but that really isn't going to happen much. I'm one of the few commandos that carries a HAR and that is because I have harvestors on Lok and things there have some nasty heat resists. As for the armor stopping a flame thrower, it won't. Sure the normal attacks will cause little dammage but the burns will still be 100% effective. Don't ask me why. I just know that the river mynock or what ever it is on Lok will take dammage from my burns tick by tick like a Heat vulnrable will. In that sense now creature is good against a commando since I can put 2-4 k of DOT in burns. So I won't die I'll feign death on it while it gets turned to ash.

yeah and 39% kin plus 13k health (the most important bar for a p-v-creature tank) mean that thing will tank critters EASILY long enough for any good combat class to drop 'em

its a **edit** good creature tank, trust me (i have a Rancor i built almost exactly like it)

Any CH, even a Master, better hope theopponent is a newb and attacks the pet and not them, otherwise the pets stats don't matterjack really.

If you want to do serious PvP, CH is not the class to be...

Yea I know the acid resist aint thatt great and for PvP this isnt exactly a perfect pet but I wasnt deisgning it for PvP just PvE and the other resistanes were just a nice touch so in a pinch this pet should keep them alive long enough to get away or get help.

As it is basicly a PvE pet I was trying to get a higher Kinetic resistance but as there are no creatures I know of that have over 40% kinetic resistances over CL60 it was really hard to keep that stat up, I mainly posted this so people could see exactly how high end creatures are made and still be customied for the customer i.e. the knockdown and crippling strike.

Thanks for your input though, and any one else making exceptional CL65+ creatures please post them here or on the sticky's etc cause as this is still a pretty new and complex system (and if you add everything you did to make the clone) every little helps

Thanks

Grats man, that isa sweet beast. Nice job getting the specials you wanted, it is a challenge in creatures that high. I hope you were paid well for it.

LOL, everyone thinks they can make your pet better. There was a guy I made a CL 70 cat for who was so excited he came here to brag about it - ended up getting lots of people saying they could have made a better one for him, even though he kept saying it was exactly what he needed for his way of fighting.

Hrmm. Stopping shot and fan shot with a DX2 comes to mind.
