Thread: Bio engineers, you made me a grinder....
I just thought you guys should know that it is because of the rude responses on these boards that I decided to grind through BE as fast as possible for the holo, instead of taking my time and seeing what I like about the profession.
Do a search on my name and you will see that I asked a total of TWO questions on these boards in the 3 MONTHS that I have been slowly working on BE.
I became a BE because the holo told me to, but I fully intended on taking my time, and figuring out if i actually like the profession, but not to long ago, I asked a question about how to decrease the amount of crafting sessions required to finish this profession and here is how that went down:

You guys created the very monster you wished to avoid. I announced my entrance into the BE proffession almost 3 months ago, with an equally unwarm welcome, so OBVIOUSLY I wasn't what you guys hated. OBVIOUSLY I didn't intend on macroing my way through it and finishing as fast as possible since I've been working on this for 3 months and not grinding it in 7 days. But once I ended up asking my SECOND question and got flamed for it, I decided that i wanted to get the hell away from you bunch of elitists.
Call this a whine post if you want, I could care less. I'm really just here to tell you that if you want BE Hologrinders out of your hair, then just don't respond to their posts, but flaming them creates the very thing that you guys seem to hate so much.
I'm almost master now, and could care less. I like what this profession does and could probably enjoy it, but can't wait until I get done with the profession that they should refer to as Master Elitist.
Sir, sorry to say but you seem like a bit of a jerk. You tell us how you're going to grind though BE as fast as possible because people flamed you. Well how is that any different than the post you put up where you claimed to get flamed (I admit I only ready through 7 or 8 responces, but I saw no flames).the content ofthat post if I'm paraphrasing correctly was, "BE grinding takes 5000 + crafting scessions, how do i do it faster". You wanted to grind through BE then, you're going to grind through BE now, I just can't beleive this shocking turn of events.
People here don't have a lot of patience for hologrinders, you'll find its the same in most professions. There is a nice FAQ for you that tells you all you need to know. And No there isn't any faster way to grind through BE. It is the hardest grind in the game. Its also the hardest crafting profession in the game, as there are no instructions to how any of it works. So you'll have to forgive people who have better things to do that tell you what is already in the FAQ.
BEs are not eliteists, we just don't like being insulted. Did that ever occur to you? That asking people, who spent a long time working up their profession, who really enjoy it, to tell you" whats the fastest way you can get thorugh it to dump it and move onto another one". Did you ever think they might find this insulting?

The problem with your original Post about is there an easier way is that you probably didnt know that a specific developer decied that our aquisition of Experience points was too high.
Even though it was not as high as a cup of tea mind you, it was too high so it got lowered by alot.
So in essence your question which touched on the hearts of some touchy individuals inspired them to be kind of Rude to you.
I did not see your post or I would have directed you to the Posts about the Macros set up to help with it.
You took on the task of trying to complete one of the most difficult proffessions in this game.
The others pale in comparison, as this one requires anyone to go out and actually spend time killing things and sampling DNA and many other things, Risking there charcater's life every time.
So anywise...like I said sorry I never saw you post before.
But I think since you where just going to dabble in this proffession becasue you are climbing the jedi ladder which is another annoying thing to me from SOE...this entire message of yours is rather moot.
I doubt you where ever going to stay a Bio-Engineer in the first place.
If you had you would have read the posts other then your own and taken a more community minded approach.
But since you have not thats too bad.
And since you are leaving this proffession...I am sorry to hear that...
So you will go and become a weakling Jedi(yes you will never be stronger then 1000 HAMs and so you will always be weaker then an Unskilled Jedi Padawan encounter on dantooine)
If you change your mind however, then well at least you will have a chance to become something much greater then everyone else.
This proffession unlike the others, relys on skill to obtain DNA and the abilityt to create things beyond the dreams of man. You can become the greatest friend to all and be a mad scientist too.
But then the Choices where always yours.
And I am just sorry that SOEs jedi lure hooked you into that madness so completely.

If you admittedly didn't read the thread all the way through, then you have no room to say that there were no flames, and you should note, that I already mentioned this was my 2nd question and 3rd overall post.
Heaven forbid I asked if 5000+ crafting sessions were the minimum to finish BE. I seriously doubt that when you were working on BE that you took the slowest route possible. If grinding with the micronutrient supplement is the fastest way, then EVERYONE is trying to finish as fast as possible. You said yourself "the hardest grind in the game", excuse me for being shocked at just how hard it was. So sorry for that.
The fact that you STILL won't even allow the question to be asked is beyond me. I don't know how to explain to you that simply asking if this is the best way to do something, or the fastest way to do something doesn't mean that i'm a holo grinding, afk macro using, board question spamming noob. I asked a simple question and received the same crap as I'm getting from you now.
