Heya!

I was told that the BE boards were the place to report this bug. So here it goes.

Rangers get the ability to see all sorts of "extra" information on creatures. But there is something buggy when we examine BE made critters. No matter what the age of the pet, it always shows as CL1. (I was told you are aware of this)..... BUT also we are normally able to see special attacks (if there are any), and for some reason it always comes up with the normal info for NO Specials, even if the pet does have them.

For example: I can examine a BE made gurrcat that I know has strong poison as its Special 1 attack, but it will read as "Special Attack 1: ---" Which is what we normally see if the critter has no special attack 1.

Please bring this to the attention of the developers and find out if it is a bug or meant to be that way. I hope it is not meant to be that way, as rangers get the short end of the stick a lot on their skills and this one seems no different.

Just wanted to make sure they know its not just the CL showing properly, the specials are not either. All I ever hear folks talk about is the CL problem.

By the way, I think fixing this will help BEs too. I can't tell you how many people get all uppity when they say they saw a lvl 1 kimo pet, and go off on a tirade about BEs making buggy pets..... When in reality I know you guys can't make a kimo that low and it is this display bug causing the trouble.

i've known its 2004 for about 20 days, yet every day someone new reminds me its 2004.

just because the've heard it once doesnt mean it isnt good to get in their face about it. ignoring a problem doesnt make it go away. fixing it does.
