Bio Engineer Archive

Does anyone have a idea what the research data disk are... and where to find them. It appears that BE need these disks in order to create food additives?

I didn't see one on TC. It wasn't clear whether these are actually in game or for future content. These are, however, optional slots. You don't actually need secret research data to make additives.
