I have a pre-patch CL9 Brackaset with 10k/4k/2k HAM, Vulnerabilities across the board except 55% Kinetic Resists, No specials, Very slow attack speed, and Very low damage.
After this morning's patch it is still valid and still callable.
After two patches which were supposed to make all invalid pets uncallable through a validity-check upon calling, I'm left with the conclusion that my initial suspicions were correct: That this pet was valid all along, and that the thing that determines a creature's level is not a cap on a singular part of the HAM, such as Health capped at 3k, etc, but rather the CL is based on aggregate amounts of HAM, its resistances vs. vulnerabilities, its attack damage, its attack speed, and its specials.
What do you all think?

well well specials dont effect cl at all.. only thing that has a big impact from experince is damage and resits

It was made entirely with Endorian DNA. I don't know the specific creatures, as it was a long time ago.
One thing to note about it was I had two concurrent experimentaiton critical failures when creating its template.

Geez,
My Level 10 with 2900 HAM and 18% kinetic 11% energy is invalid...
And Adjust stats doesn't work on it...
Oh well...
New pet time.

Crit failures are the best. They can really drop the CL from the sky.

In my experience specials do alter the level - if the specials dont stick then I can usually experiment the mind pool up a little, if they do then I'm stuck with a 1.8k -2k mind pool :/
But - grats on your brackaset heh - now that the validation is back it - time for us to try and push the fold again

but now can we make pets that we don't know if can be tamed or not? It seems that last code checker (not that it is anywhere in patch) only checks called ones. Are we to assume that if we can make it , it is valad?

inconceivable,
my kaadu CL10 4/4/2k 110dmg stun was invalid today (one of my first creations as a bio e) and the adjust stats feature said an error had occured. /boohoo
i think it is borked cause i used picket DNA.
so thequestion is... "can one create an invalid CL10 now that publish 6 is live?"
