I loved bio, was one about 7-8 months really enjoyed the prof. but JTL came out and artisan 0-0-0-4 Need to survey, and when better while serching for a place to drop a miner than find a good sample ! My old bio ishas become an entertiner and trying to drowned his sorrows in the big mistake he made giving up his loved prof.. He was last seen snuffing spice in theed, with a hornin one hand and a cute dancer on the other. /wink
My goal for the new character, is to make the ulitmate petmaker. Master bio, scout 4-0-4-0 and the rest not sure.. but its going to be FS and maybe one day real jedi skills. bascially defence stacks, damage mid, healing ect..
A bio-jedi is all i really ever wanted to be.. My character made novice tonight /smile
I cant wait to go sampling DNA was one of the most fun things i have done in game and never seamed like it was a"grind" like people refer to everything. Im soo glad to be back in the lab

Welcome back to the fold.
I've said it to several people who were starting out: BE is not for everyone. It appeals to people who love playing with numbers and experimenting. If you hate this sort of thing, BE is not for you. If you love it, you may find it is the most fun you have had in game.
I think this is evidenced by the people who come back to it after trying other professions. For those who love it, it is hard to stay away.
With current meat and tissue prices, I'm lucky to break even on tissues on my server, and I consistently lose money on pets. Still, I stay a BE. Why? Either (a) because I really enjoy doing it, or (b) because I'm stark raving mad, or (c) both (a) and (b).

I'll wager that you really enjoy being stark raving mad.

Ultimate petmaker isnt scout 4040, its ranger 0030, sorry =) You really need MS for maskscent godliness and areatrack animals with direction and distance for the greatest uberness when it comes to petmaking...this was my template for a while, trust me it owns on trying to find creatures just by wandering around lol. You probably also want a decent combat build, since FS exp for the lines a BE would be interested in (Reflex XXX4 i think it is, the mask and creature line) are combat/reflex XP only, and scouting/DNA is crappy worthless senses.

You may try to wager, but no one I know would take that bet. For some reason, they all seem to agree with you.

Umm acually ill still disagree for a few reasons..
1, ive been a ranger/hunter since launch there isnt an area track skill that tells me where to find what.. sure whats in the area.. but that doesnt help if they not around.. I basicaly can find anything i want cuase i know where to look, what spawns where ect.. Ive been a ranger on and off for over a year. i never use area track : ) I just like bigger camps and more harvest.
2, Good bio-clothing and jawa is pretty good, sure your mask will break but nothing that time can over come..
3, ohh ill have defence, just not sure what yet : ) perhaps a saber.
