Maybe I am just dumb, but I can't figure out what I would normally use in the secret research data slot for addatives....
Any help??

Well, well, a familiar face from Radiant! I was just wondering the same thing. I'm new to BE, can any veterans say if this "secret research data" has been around a while, or is this a new thing?

It's a new thing, and we figure it's a special loot drop found in the Geonosian secret research complex

Its brand new... Which is why I was asking... I hope if it is a genosian drop it isn't a one time thing

There are some people in my guild in the cave hunting today, and so far none of them have found any secret research data. They have found quite a few of the other new rare drops, various rifles, pistols, and blades, but no research data. I think it probably is a drop much like the others, that would come off of Geonosians. But with how rare it seems to be, I'd say it better add ALOT to our chef additives.
Why can we only use it inchef additives anyway? Since the research complex is all about making stronger animals, how does it make more sense that we use their research in foods instead of making pets?

actually the secret research data isa loot drop from the new corellian cooking school dungeon. you fight NPC chefs and the research data is from the guy in the back, i think he runs the place.

OK... I looted (from the Geonosian Bio-Lab) What's called "An Encrypted Data Disc" which, when examined, only says, "Geonosian Relic". I've not heard of anyone else getting one of these yet, and have been scouring the boards trying to find some info on it.
Perhaps this thing leads to the research data?

What I hope this secret research data does is when you create a factory schematic with it for a run of 1000 units it is only needed while creating the schematic, not during the factory run 
When I get my hands on one of them this is the first thing I am going to try out, using my best resources to create a schematic!

It opened offically tues. and bria+kettemoor were so lagged only a special few manged to get to door 1.My obbservation was let all the kids/hard heads duke it out,while the less combat abled/inclined,make a mad dash for the lower doors. be very wary as the alert droideka gaurd the doors down in the bottom. At least the first door, my brian ranger could go no further than the room beyond the first door.

im thinking it is similar to night sister scale thingies where you can loot a number of them and then run a schematic from

What Prances has doesn't sound like it's what we're looking for actually.
Apparently there's an NPC you can sell "Geonosian Relics" to on Yavin. So thats probably what they are for.
I'm hearing reports of "food" being dropped, but no more info than that.
I'll see if I can dig anything else up.
