Haha...I haven't seen this question in a few weeks 
Its in the FAQ. Basically the Devs put it in the schematic about a year ago, but haven't actually got round to putting the actual Secret Research Data in yet
So basically just ignore it, till you read it in the patch notes in 10 years time

You're question has already been answered, but I'll throw in a suggestion. Read through the stickied threads at the top of the forum.
I don't mean that as a flame, not am I trying to be one of the arrogant jerks who has tantrums because someone had the nerve to ask a question. Just meant as a helpful suggestion from someone who was a newbie BE a couple of weeks ago. The stickied threads have been massively helpful to me, hopefully you'll find the same.
Good luck with your BEing, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I hate this... one year later and the devs stil have their thumbs in their a$$es. PUT IT IN THE GAME ALREADY... is it supposed to be a big suprise when you put it in? is it supposed to be a special gift to the BE that you put it in the game? NO, I will tell you what the problem is.. you just don't know how to make the game fun. anticipation is not fun, anticipation for 1 year is not fun it is agonizing! you put the slot in the game but nothing to put in there. I would personally like to see you take the damn slot out of the game, it seems to be very easy for you to take things away from professions i.e nerfing. I only wish I had such a lax job that the goals of completing projects were "finish it when ever you feel like it, next year for all we care." wow, come to think of it that is HORRIBLE. who runs that place? who make decisions around there? I have a suggestion, FIRE THEM! then hire a monkey to fill the position!
