I am about halfway to becoming a master BE and I have found a good way to make money without the master BE skill box. My apologies if everyone knows this already.

I had a backpack full of sampled DNA the other day that I collected while grinding DNA sampling and I decided for fun I would fill my house with all the different kinds of pets I could make. A friend of mine who is an architect came by my house to see my "zoo". She has a vendor that sells household furnishings (furniture, paintings, ... etc).We thought we would try and sell some of these pets as decorations on her vendor. Well one week later I have sold a dozen or so of them and am starting to get orders from people for more. Got an order today for a dozen bunnies (I dont ask people what they need them for).

I sell them for 1000 credits each. I label them as 'decorative' (ie Decorative Gurrcat) and I don't get them tamed or anything. I thought about using those pets for more DNA sampling xp but I find that you don't get very much xp from them as you do from just going out into the wild and sampling away like a madman.

I think with all the new loot these days that are house decorations (wanted posters, ... etc) people are spending more time decorating their houses and it is pretty cool to havea cute little kima lounging on your orange rug, hehe.

heh i could imagine some sadistic guild filling their guild hall to capacity just with durnis in the main room, just carpet the place with them =D
