hi i became recently MBE and well still a bit new to crafting pets but i thought i have go at it and try to make a level 10 pet.

So after few times trying i got finally a level 10 Dewback with 3k ham and some nice ris and all and thought mm not bad.

I then tamed the pet deed as i wanted to keep this one . Then i saw some message about i wouldnt be able to call this but a control device was added to my datapad and i thought errr? Lvl 10 pet and i wont be able to control it?

so from my datapad i tried to call it to see what happens and then i got a message saying the stats were wrong for the pet and i either had to adjust its level or its stats. mm so ok i thought i only can have a lvl 10 pet for my own use so i chose to adjust it stats and it dropped the ham to 900.... Very strange i thought. As i have also a lvl 10 bantha in my data from some long time ago with 4k ham and i can call that one without any problems. Anyone know if there was a change in this? Kinda sad to see my nice dewie to drop from 3k ham to 900 tho

The pet check looks at a number of stats - not just HAM. It could have been resists / damage etc that tipped the balance.

The pet validity check is currently bugged. It is annoying as it lets the exploits through though grr. The highest HAM i have seen in the wild is 1100 (carrion spat)

Yes, the pet check is system is completely b0rked. I'm likely because I seem to be able to push the envelope to the wall and still get them passed the pet checker. Can you say "CL5 with 60% kinetic / 8k health"? *grin*

They need to sort it out and let us know where we stand. If they didnt want us to make such uber pets then they should prevent us from doing so instead of us wasting dna on it.

I am not sure about everyone else but I never adjust the stats, I only ever adjust the Creature level. Reason: It is easier to sell a pet that originally had 5000H,3000A,2000M CL8 and was adjusted to CL11 with the same stats than a pet that started 5000H,3000A,2000M CL8 and was adjusted to 900H,900A,900M CL8.

Just one opinion.
